Swordsman is one of the four warrior jobs, their abilities are geared primarily toward dealing large amounts of weapon damage to foes, but they can also acquire various abilities that allow them to attract the attention of monsters, thus acting as a 'tank', which of these two roles is suitable depends on the stat/skill build of the character. Swordsman can be equipped with variety of weapons such as maces, axes, and swords, and are the only class that can wield two handed swords. Upon advancing jobs, a Swordsman can become a Blade Master.

Prerequisites

Steps To Become a Swordsman

  1. Speak with the Swordsman Master in the Guild Palace in Acropolis City Uptown.
  2. The Swordsman Master will ask you to hunt Bawoos and get Meat.
  3. Report back to the Swordsman Master.
  4. Once you complete the quest he will have you remove your clothes for the tattoo (which you cannot see), then he will have you put your clothes back on to receive the gift.

Tips

Almost every swordsman build will want to adhere to the following:

  • Increase HP and increase HP recovery are a must. HP recovery increases the amount you are healed for.
  • Your chosen weapon's mastery and increase accuracy skills are also very useful.
  • Sword Delay Cancel is a must. This skill usefull for fasthunt.
  • If you are unsure how to allocate your stat points, you can try simply aiming for about 90+ STR, 30-40 DEX, 35-45 VIT, and 80-90+ AGI. Find a calculator to finalize your build.
