All preparations for Emil Chronicle Online release are nearing completion and since so many players are anticipating its release so much, Emil Chronicle Online Operation Team has decided to host a small trial for players who didn’t have the chance to participate Close Beta to get a feel of Emil Chronicle Online before the Open Beta comes. August 26, 2009 - Finally! Some official news and a status report from Run Up
Well it's been over a month since closed beta and we're finally getting an official status announcement!
- It has been a long time since any news regarding Emil Chronicle Online release. Emil Chronicle Online Team has been spending its full effort on improving the game system which is different from other versions currently available.
- Being the first English version of Emil Chronicle Online released, as a result, some unforeseen problems have occurred causing some features within Emil Chronicle Online to be unavailable during closed beta period. Therefore Emil Chronicle Online Team has been ensuring the quality of the game is maintained without language complication occurred during translation.
Basically, they announced that they have run into some problems launching the game, and there has been a delay because of that. There are two other announcements in this news article, they will be upgrading the servers, which is always a good thing, and they will be adding "protection software" to the game. I really hope they are not going to implement GameGuard or some other such program.
August 1, 2009 - Run Up will be at the PICOM PC Fair in Kuala Lumpur
Run Up will be at the PICOM PC Fair August 1st and 2nd offering various promotional deals and a giveaway drawing to fans who attend.

July 28, 2009 - Run Up partnering with G-Shark to offer ECO branded mouse
Run Up and G-Shark have joined forces to create a series of Emil Chronicle Online branded mouses. People who purchase an ECO mouse will receive a game code that can be redeemed for a "Mysterious OB Virtual Item" during the coming ECO Open Beta.

- With the end of Close Beta Test, players might seem lost until launching of the Open Beta Server. You might feel sad as you will not be able to meet up with friends at the moment… but guess what? Every ending is marking a start to an anticipated new pathway, the Open Beta Server is launching very soon. You miss everything at the very beginning, don’t you? Now you can start all over again!
July 21 2009 - Close Beta comes to an end
Close Beta Test of Emil Chronicle Online finally comes to an end; the servers will be closing at 22nd July 2009 23:59 for both Singapore and Malaysia server. To commemorate our short stay in Close Beta Test, there will be a event on Tiny Island from 22nd July 2009 18:00 to 19:00. You may visit Tiny Island by talking to Tiny (127,153) in Uptown, we will be meeting you there!

July 17 2009 - Hide and Seek Events
In order to provide some entertainment during close beta! RunUp decided to organize a Hide and Seek event! The goal is to find the runaway GM hidden somewhere in the Uptown of Acropolis!

July 16 2009 - OnRPG.com Items Giveaway Event
OnRPG is working with RunUp to give away 2000 items for Emil Chronicle Online! You just have to be a member or register before the event is over to claim your item code. Item codes can be exchanged in game at blue ticket exchange machine for a Yaksa Mask, Yaksa Armor(M) and a Yaksa Armor(F).
