Area of Effect

Area of Effect, or AoE refers to skills which affect multiple targets within a pre-determined radius set by the game mechanics.
For example, the Shadow Blast skill that warlocks can learn at job level 40 will cause damage to any monsters within a 3x3 space from where it is cast.
